Involvement

Many people sympathize with the plight of those trying to grow as Christians after being released from prison or jail, but they don't know how to help. There are many ways to help! Ex-offenders, we call them participants, have many needs—not all of them spiritual. It is the desire of those in Jericho Commission to meet both spiritual and physical needs. Jericho Commission has offered itself as a clearing house for programs and services available to its participants.

Prayer Partner

Jericho Commission's biggest need is prayer. First and foremost, the ministry needs the touch of God's Divine Hand.  If you are willing to pray for Jericho Commission on a regular basis, we would be most grateful. Please let us know that you are praying for us by emailing us. We will not use your email address to solicit anything from you. It is simply a source of encouragement to us to know you are a prayer partner.

Church Care Team/Mentor Program

Jericho reaches out to Participants through local churches throughout southwest Missouri. We help structure the Church Care Team and train mentors to work with participants. We provide an extensive Resource Center for the Mentors. The mentoring program is essential to the entire ministry; without mentors, the program and the church cannot properly reach out to participants. To apply to be a mentor contact your Church CareTeam leader.  If your church does not have a Care Team, you may want to consider estabilshing one.  Email us if this is the case.
